Anybody seen this yet? I enjoyed The Thick of It and this is ment to be very similar (with Tony Soprano thrown in for good measure) so I can't see it going wrong, the reviews have been very positive so I'm itching to see it.

Any views from the PH collective?

If you like TTOI you will love In the Loop; basically an extended, 120 minute episode with a beefed up cast! I really enjoyed it first time through, although wierdly I haven't gone back to watch it again. Still, there are some very funny scenes (most involving Malcolm) and the US cast are good.

Have a search through the archives, it was discussed at length somewhere a while ago. Basically a marmite film, I loved it, having not see the series, so if you like that, there is nothing not to enjoy about the film. Some very good moments in it

Just as good in my eyes.

Malcolm is classic, as is his alter-ego back in London - the scene where he breaks the fax machine is genius.

Oddity for me is that they use many of the same actors as in The Thick of It, but they play different characters in the film version.
