"War Horse" is new and is supposed to be fantastic

For a laugh, "Avenue Q." Naughty muppets on stage, hilarious

"Blood Brothers," one of the longest running shows in London - excellent

Oh sorry, forgot to say. I don't like musicals.
My fault and thanks for the suggestion.

11 yr olds wouldn't be allowed to see Avenue Q and there's a damn good reason for that.

It's hilarious. Trust me!

Just had a look. THe reviews definitely support your recommendation.
Unfortunately its two ingredients are two of my most hated phenomena: musicals and muppets. A match made in hell for me. I just don't 'get' either factor.

SOrry-I appeared to ingore you.
Sadly I hate Kiera Knightley almost as much as muppets and musicals so this wasnt an option.

It appears that they like to make all plays around my personal hatreds.

a few years ago for our anniversary I took my Mrs to see 'The King and I'.....I did it with gritted teeth but ended up enjoying it.

Especially the bit where the leading lady had a wardrobe malfunction and her left tit fell out.

I like the sound of the tit thing, but sadly as I typed "the king and I" into google the word musical just popped up everywhere making me feel sick and assume you are gay for loving musicals more than anything in the world as you just said so cant deny.

Totally agree - saw it at The National last year - brilliant. Now in the West End I believe.

Equus
The MouseTrap (don't laugh, it's not half bad)

The Old Vic often puts on a lot of contemporary stuff, as well as Shakespeare.
