A butchered '83 944 has got to be worth all of 1000-1500 tops, assuming it's mechanically alright under all that. Apart from the fact that Maritime blue is one of my least favourite colours, I'd be worried that the bodgit respray is there to cover some nasty shell issues (rust/crash damage)...
