On Channel 4 at 8pm tonight.

Will this be a rational and balanced and scientifically sound show, or will it be all MMGW rot?

I will reserve judgment on this one, after all, C4 have been known to go against the grain with their documentaries.

One lives in hope.

I've just turned over to this by accident and was going to post my own thread about it.

UTTER SHEEEIIITE

"It halted filming on soap operas"

Give me strength. It's like a Charlie Brooker esque newswipe report.

CH4, do fvck off, please.

Well, so far they have just been stating the obvious. At least there has not been any propaganda so far!

You all need your eyes testing.

It was a TVR and Noble garage. Much more interesting. I was tempted to mention it to SWMBO, but she was starting to nod off.

Vaguely entertaining to start off with, but started to get ludicrously dull as it went on.

So, some scientist woman type looking at the types of snow. Apparently there's different types that can cause avalanches. I'd always thought they were caused by some numpty doing a loud fart or shouting "AVALANCHE" and then ducking.

I only caught the last 5 minutes of it and I heard some guy saying something along the lines of;

"Two consecutive extreme Winters doesn't mean Global Warming isn't happening, it could be that Britain faces extreme Winters every year from now on"

So what exactly are they telling us? Summers will be hot and Winters cold? No fking st Sherlock!

Sums up the whole programme really - stating the bleeding obvious.

Ah, that's a shame.

So they are now moving towards the AGW means cold winters and warm summers.....

Still, that snow-clearing machine from Russia with the little arms going like the clappers is quite possibly the funniest piece of machinery I've ever seen! biggrin

Except that the "Barbecue Summer" just didn't happen. It was cool and wet.

Indeed. But I was being sarcastic, i.e. they are now telling us that warm summers and cold winters is Climate Change / AGW..... Look how much it has changed etc. etc. I mean who'd have thought it was warm in summer and snow in winter............. They must think we are thick as s**t.
