Anyone on here stayed at the Bellagio?

If so, can you comment specifically on the pool area - on their website it appears to be really small and with little room around it.

I stayed last year at the Wynn wich had a brilliant pool area, but I can't afford Wynn prices this year so I looked around and spoke to some veteran LV visitors I know and they recommended the Bellagio, although they never used the pool at all.

I want to be able to laze around during the day before my nightly assault on the Roulette and Blackjack tables, but if I can't get a lounger cos there's a) no room and b)only a few available anyway, I'll be proper ****** off!!

So if anyone has visited the Bellagio and used/looked around the pool area, could you offer a comment on how small / how much space there is, and how many loungers?

Many thanks

Kinky

There are 3 pools and a reasonable amount of loungers when we were there.

The pool area's huge (think it's actually about 4 or 5 pools) and there were plenty of loungers when we stayed there.

Yeah I've been to the Bellagio a couple of times. The pool area looks small as theres lots of medium sized areas combining with tree lined walkways etc connecting them. This means it feels a lot more intimate than e.g the Mirage. The website will tend to stress this to make it appear more exclusive. I'm not a massive pool person (2 days per trip maximum) but from memory there was more than sufficient loungers

Coincidentally I'm off to Vegas next month and I'm spending the last week at Encore. Is this shared with the Wynn or do they have separate pool areas?

I didn't get a chance to check out the Encore but if it's anything like the Wynn, you'll love it. What I noticed most about Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian etc etc is that there's a HUGE difference between what USA hotels believe to be 5 star compared to, for instance, Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The Wynn wouldn't even make it to the top ten over there!

Still a wonderful resort though!

Realise you say you've stayed at the Wynn before but I still think thats the best hotel on the strip and they do have some good deals on at the moment.

Kinda depends on an individual's definition of good deal, but I take the point. Unfortunately the time I have available to me from work is in August and the Wynn is mega-money then. I do agree that it's a really good hotel though (the buffet breakfast in widely acknowledged as the best on the strip) and the hostess girls are among the best!

If you go to youtube there's plenty of vids of the pool area to give you an idea.
