Out of interest, Sinn has just released a new model based on the U series of watches but at a smaller size (37mm x 14.6mm) for either the ladies or the gentleman of smaller proportions (!). Copper sulphate drying capsule, argon fill and tegimented (hardened) bezel (may be case as well, my Dutch isn't too good) and 2000m water resistance.

SINN - U200

Model: 1012.010

Technical Data Model U200 and U200 SDR

Dial: Black
Case material: U-boat steel
Band: Black silicon
Base movement: ETA 2824-2
Movement winding: Automatic
Jewels: 25
Crystal: Sapphire - anti reflective on both sides
Case back: Solid U-boat steel, Screw-down crown
Water pressure resistance: 200 bar / 2000 m
Case diameter: 37.0 mm
Watch height: 14.6 mm

One of the guys from another forum went to Sinn last week and handled it, apparently it's got a nicely domed crystal which blends with the angle of the bezel. It looks as if it'll retail for around £1250/£1,380 depending whether you have it on the bracelet or not. 'SDR' refers to a version with a black bezel.

I quite like it, after that 47mm Singapore special I feared Sinn may get into silly size territory so this is a bit of a relief. I'll add some more 3/4 shots as and when someone gets their paws on it.

That looks very nice indeed, but would be too small for me - will have to go with a UX myself, but good to know that Sinn is catering for those with smaller wrists
