How many of us are sat in front of a PC all day at 'work'?

PC is a generic name for any personal computer, be that Windows, MAC, Unix or some other random system. Many people automatically assume that PC=Windows, but it doesn't.

Sadly probably about 90% of us on here are sat in front of a screen, with our working day being defined by those irritating tasks we have to do outside of PH.

Yep. It's what I do.

I usually have three windows open.

Microsoft Outlook for email.
Visual Studio for work.
PH for bks.

Thanks. I feel enlightened now.

However, I am willing to bet my Mortgage on the fact if you stopped someone in the street and asked them what anything in a silver tower was called and what anything with an apple on is, they would not be answering PC for both.

ETA.

This is a MouseMap of my last few hours. Black spots are mouse pauses. (Probably masturbation time)... (actually that is a certainty as they are quite short pauses)

Interesting mousemap ....

You're right - thats what most people believe, and its what M$ have leveraged in their imbecilic advertising, and Apple have also used in their rather clever "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads. Its just not strictly true.

Of course, your average person on the street doesn't know the differences between fwd and rwd, and at the last election a fair number of them also voted for NuLabia.

Just out of interest, is it easy for an IT dept to keep a record of all your PH posts?
