Or, some other extremely rich person of pensionable age:-

Would you claim your £5000 pa state pension or waive it?

I mean you would be just as entitled to it as the next man, and there is the principle involved...

Just wondered what the PH massive's thoughts are......scratchchin

Claim it if I am entitled.

They give so much to fkers who have no intention of even looking for a job that I'd do it on principle.

I wonder how much tax he has paid over the years. And his employees.

Not to mention VAT on any of his product. Ticket sales. Corporation tax by record and publishing companies.

I reckon he's allowed, if he so wishes.

I love the idea of him queuing up in the post office with tartan shopping trolley.

I would claim it out of principle, I paid in so I'm going to get what I'm entitled to.

My guess is PM gives quite a lot to charity anyway.

M in L is 85 and very well off and she grabs as much as she can despite her money. Its all we can do to get her to give some money to her (adult) grandchildren who have struggled at times (they might waste it!) or even with my daughters wedding. Its horrible to see anbd to listen to especially at this time of year when she pays her tax, we get the same thing each year "why me I'm only a poor pensioner"!

I'd take it and donate to charidee.

And to congratulate myself for my good deed, I'd take another ten grand out the bank and spunk it on a room full of prossies and a bucket of coke.
