car passed its mot yesterday, my that was nerve wracking!! hahaha! didnt help that when i filled my washers up they still didnt work, on closer inspection my hose from bottle to washers was completely melted through in the middle. argh! this was only discovered on the way to the test centre. arse. oh well, it passed and it made up for me bein a complete div on sunday and running out of petrol. least i know the fuel gauge isnt that accurate now! hahaha!

Thats great news, I have mine coming up at the end of Feb.

Did you go to a TVR specialist or a local garage.

Funny you should mention your washer container as on the weekend the same thing happened to me. Realised it was empty so filled it up with a watering can only to realise it was all going straight on the floor. Not sure if a have a hole or crack in it or what caused it. Going to take a look this weekend.

Have you had a look to see if it can be fixed or if you need a new one. Let me know how you get on as i fear i may be needing a new one.

i just took it to a local garage, well known to the family cos theyve always worked on our cars.

the problem with the washers was that the hose from bottle to wipers had melted completely in two somewhere in the middle so it has just been cut and jointed with some brake hosing. thankfully a nice easy fix. hehe

Congrats... Mine passed on Saturday. It's a great feeling to know that another year will pass before the need to do it all over again..

isnt it just!! its my first time round for the mot on the cerb. ive never been this nervous putting a car in for it in my life!!!
