yes - if you're a jobless bum and spend all day in the park swilling special brew during the summer months.

Sure is. I spend many an hour of a summer evening chilling on a lounger in the grounds with a Pimms before taking a quick dip in the pool.

cool

Some of the above details may not be true.

You can down in Cornwall / Devon. That's the only places I've been to where I've got a tan. Saying that though, I'm a pale northener so a tan for me is anything a darker shade than piss.

I didn't tan very well in Portugal, Florida, Italy or California ... But I got a fantastic tan in St. Ives! irked

Anyway, the best way to get a tan is to buy a Series 1 Elise. If the sun doesn't get you from having the roof off, the metal panels inside will! tongue out

If you head up the mountains when there is snow on them and its sunny, it is surprising how quickly you can get sunburn.

Its a combination of the clear air and reflections from the snow, and if you forget your suncream it hurts the next day, guess how I know!

And if your ginger, well...........

Rarely. I had a tan last summer but that's only because I was made redundant when we had the good weather so was able to bum about getting a tan. Otherwise you have to work outside all the time, or catch it lucky on a weekend and burn yourself. Goodwood FOS caught me out a couple of years ago, lots of sun + no sun cream = sunstroke!
