Was bored at work so punched in the reg EU59 FYB & it comes up as an MG TF, 135LE 500, in black!!

Beware!!

Mg TF on a 59 plate? thats my first thought.....

But after doing a directgov search it would seem correct. 1800 cc blah blah blah in black.

Plate doesn't show on Ford ETIS either.

Could be a simple case of wrong plate made up by dealer or something a little more sinister??!!

That's right...we do that on purpose so we don't get any reg frauds going

Bizzare. Why not just get show plates with "Perkins" written on them... looks more professional IMO.

Indeed. I really don't get this plate cover up lark, i mean if i really wanted a plate to cloan a car i'd just drop by at any dealer and write it down. Same as people who cover the plate online, granted it makes things a little harder but come on, you drive around with that plate on show day in day out!

Good detective work there! I wonder if they have that MGTF at their dealer? I would be a bit annoyed if i was driving along & saw a car in a dealer with the same reg as mine!!
