After chatting to a few friends it would appear that I'm in a minority!

I just don't get it, animals are stupid they can be expensive, they smell and you can't have a conversation with them (although strangely people try!)

Apparently this makes me a bad person, I can't be on my own?

Do you perhaps want to specify that you dislike pets rather than all animals? I like killer whales but don't have any interest in purchasing and looking after one.

OH has a dog. It stinks, makes noise, cant be left alone, needs attention etc. And its fking useless. Not even a smart/useful dog that can collect pheasants or bring the newspaper in.

If I wanted to be surrounded by animals I would live on a farm*

*Will live on a farm if I can convert the barn to a massive workshop.

I know what you mean, feeding can get expensive. I have been banned form the seal sanctury, they would not believe I just wanted to take it for a walk rolleyes

Love them.

Either down the rib of my 12 bore or on the rug in front of the fire.

I expect they banned you due to the big club you was carrying.

To be fair, it's been known for my missus to refer to me like this.

It would seem you are judging domestic pets rather than animals in general, great attention seeking thread though

I love nearly all animals, from the usual hominids to creepy crawlies, spiders, etc.

The only ones I hate are supporters of the Labour Party, and all their PC enterage and friends. That includes religious ones. Yes, I hate religious animals. All of them. Feckin sue me for religious hate crime.

Actually no, he is not attention seeking. He justified his view in the original post. If he was attention seeking the OP would have consisted of "animals sucks !!111oneone!".....

Appreciate the sentiment, however, my dog is quite the opposite. Cost buggar all (£5) and is now 12, doesn't smell ever and is great around the house. Wouldn't be without him.

Not sure about your chain of thought with the attention seeking smile

I was thinking about all animals mainly focussed on domestic ones as they would be the only animals I come into contact with. But in general I don't like animals, I have lived for years about 3 miles from a very well known safari park and have no intention to visit ever.
