TIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARINGs

AS the title sayes ,i have stripped the front hubs and had them electro plated and replaced the bearings with new items they went back together with no problems ensuring the bearings and race were match but after tightening the nut the hub is very reluctant to turn without using a pri bar between the hub studs any tips chaps thanks kev

When I replaced my wheel bearing after an MOT fail a couple of years ago, the new bearing was very tight to turn - almost impossible as you say. I took the car back to the garage, they passed it - I asked about the tightness and they said that would disappear within a few miles - and it did.
