Who was the first person to win the national lottery UK?

[TheCarpetCleaner]

Been trying to find out on google, they seem to have all sorts of other facts and figures - anyone know?

[Snoop Bagg]

Seven jackpot winners got around £800,000 each in the first lottery draw, so no outright winner!

[Somewhatfoolish]

iirc they fought in court to keep it secret, and won, so you ain't gonna be finding out any time soon...

[Tripe Bypass]

One definitely went public. I think his name was Ken Southwell or something similar. He featured in an edition of the original Performance Car.
