It was Project Gotham Racing 2 on the original XBox. Game that made me get XBox Live.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was PGR2, I can remember going round a mates house just after he got it and taking a Ferrari, think it was an F40, round for my first ever lap. I crashed spectacularly at the first set of corners.

I still remember watching the ghost of the first person to crack 6 minutes on the 'Ring in PGR2. My 6:20 or so could consistently beat pretty much everyone on Live, but watching that performance basically made me give up trying to get better. I am just not that obsessive about a game.
