STOP IT FANBOYS!
Discussion
Now I enjoy a little ribbing and the occasional bit of gloating/face rubbing as much as the next man and yes I am a supporter of British drivers, believing Hamilton to be better than Button and I would rather see a Maclaren win than a Ferrari.
That said what the hell has got into you lot? I haven’t been able to read a thread on the most recent F1 championships for the last year without some nutjob from one side of the fence or another turning a valid debate into a full on dissection of why their team should be held in awe by the rest of the World.
Come on please. I have tried to read the launch threads but all i see are the usual suspects from BOTH sides of the fence acting like kids.
Please grow up, all of you so that we can enjoy reading this sub forum again or otherwise you’ll find you are the only ones in here.

This forum is far better than some of the other kiddie/fan boi forums around. But there is still room for more improvement
I agree and i also know that i am one of the culprits that gets into "luke warm" discussions with the Ferrari fanboys so i will try to calm it down a bit BUT as someone else has said, PH is very tame compared to some of the other ones like Planet F1. And, yes, its been like this for years partly due to the FIA and some dubious decsicions that like or not..............pissed people off over the years.
But, i will try to keep it on topic.

I agree. There is some good information and insight posted on here, but it is getting swamped with childish bickering.
Whilst I agree with the sentiments of the OP, I have to say that it is not, perhaps, all that unusual. I watch most GPs with a group of mates. On race day good information and insight is not overwhelming and childish bickering and insults are the norm.Outside of race weekend we tend to talk sense (apart from the Alonso supporter of course. He's beyond the help of medical science.) and listen to arguments (again except for the Alonso supporter who, we believe, is deaf).

Q. Lewis, you've often said Michael Schumacher is the one man you would have like to race again. do you think Michael is going to be the man to beat for you this season?
LH: I don't think I've every actually said it - I think if you read the reports I said I always wanted to race Ayrton

Lewis:-
While growing up and watching F1, I was finally there and thinking I would have chance to race Michael but he left. I did get the chance to be on the same track as him on a couple of days, which was such a pleasure to see, the Ferrari of Michael Schumacher pulling out of the pits ahead of me. It was pretty awesome.
Now to be on the same grid as him, see him and the mirrors or in front, it's going to be very special. For me it is going to be a great experience
