2010 - Year Of The Game!

I've just been looking through Wikipedia at some of the expected release's for 2010.

Some that have got me excited are:

Aliens Vs Predator
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Bioshock 2
Command & Conquer 4
Dead Rising 2
Deus Ex 3
Front Mission: Evolved
Max Payne 3
Supreme Commander 2

I am a PC gamer though, so there are plenty more games due out for console only that I've ignored.

Oh and check out 'Naughty Teddy', looks like a hilarious game based on 'Conkers Bad Fur Day'

I think Valve mentioned in an interview that Ep3 isn't going to appear in 2010.

Im not talking crack. The basic platform for GT5 is now what? 4 years old?? How the hell is that meant to compete with the most advanced driving physics engine on console?

Polyphony Digital or whoever is developing now has just taken too long. Too long and It wont be worth the wait or the hype.

Rumour is that HL: Episode 3 has been ditched and we'll be getting a "proper" HL3 with a shiny new game engine.

Which kinda does again Gabe (Valve) saying that the episodes *were* HL3, and that episode 3 would be the last we'd see of HL/Gordon in the current setup/situation.

I'd be suprised if Deux Ex 3 was anything more than a consolised mess following the same footsteps of Deux Ex 2 and Bioshock. The first Deus Ex was absolutely epic, and I still claim it to be one of the best, most coherent and brilliantly told stories in gaming.


Oh, and don't forget Mafia 2 - again, Mafia 1 was epic, with a stunning ending. They've got alot to live up to.
