I thought I had a sticking throttle!!! But after replacing it with a new one, it didn't sort the problem. I check the throttle cable and thats fine. Then went on to change the stepper motor or Idle control valve, but this still hasnt put it right.... The problem is:- If I touch the throttle, the revs rise but dont fall back down to a tick over straight away. Has anyone got any idea where to look for this fault on my S1 111s Elise???? PLEASE somebody help me. Its drivng me mad. Oh yeah !! and the fuel use has gon up big time..... So PLEASE CAN ANY ONE HELP MEconfused

Try all the air balance pipes - I know it is a bit vague but you could have an ingress of presure after the sensors which is effecting the mixture . As you can gather from this I am no expert - good luck
