Recommend Me a Good Mechanic

Hi all,

A few months back I bought myself my first car - a 1976 MGB GT, and what a beautiful thing she is too. I've given her a basic service and started doing some cosmetic bits, but it's got the point in the recommissioning where I need to have it professionally tuned and honed to get the best out of the engine and drivetrain.

Can anyone here recommend me a good mechanic who can either come and visit my and give it a once over, or one that isn't too far away from the Reigate/Gatwick area - I'm not sure how far the car would make it at the moment!

Contact the MGOC and see if they can help. I just bought an old Jag - the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club have been fantastic in providing support and advice. They even have an engineer who I commissioned to inspect the car for me.
