I keep seeing it advertised for 'Spring 2010' on Sky Movies?

Band of Brothers was on BBC1/2 last time around, are we going to have to upgrade our Sky subscription just to watch it?

I can't work out whether this will initially only be available in HD.

"Because when it comes to the UK - at exactly the same time as it airs in the US - it's coming exclusively to Sky Movies in glorious HD."

What does that mean, exactly?

Seems a bit silly to show a mini series on Sky Movies to me.
Guess that means we will have to upgrade to the movie package also.

It'll be on Sky Movies frown and probably mid-March which is when most other countries are showing it.

ETA. very slow.

But like anything on sky it'll come around again in 6 months on an easier to get to channel so it's only a bit of waiting needed.

(Say's the man who's only just started watching Gavin and Stacey series 1)

I'll watch the DVD as I don't have Sky Movies and don't intend to.

Does Sky Movies show ads during the film/show?

It means Sky are trying to push people into having the HD pack even though it will be available on the "normal" Sky Movie channels smile

They do the same with the headline shows on Sky1...24,Lost etc.
