Mk 1 Tuscan settings
Discussion
I went to my mate Tom’s today from “New Techniques” in Bishops Waltham, to check over the set up on my Mk 1 2000 Tuscan
It is fitted with the latest spec Gaz Golds. After setting the front Toe out from 1m to Toe in 1.5mm this reduced the front end “twitch” to a much less nervous setting.
Rear toe in was 3mm
As I was there Tom kindly checked the Cambers which were 1degree all round except 1.5 O/S Front and out of interest we did the corner weights.
They were very good, but after a tiny adjustment to the N/S rear spring height we got:
294 N/S Front,
293 O/S Front,
279 N/S rear,
285 O/S rear,
Total weight with 50 Lts fuel, 1151 kgs. Its for road use only, on road tyres.
A Very well balanced Car.
