Hello All
I collect my boyhood dream early next week "A Lotus". A 52 plate Elise. 22000miles and a full C Service prior to collection. The car is immaculate apart from some discolouration to the head rest on the drivers seat. (Greasy hair or a brylcream boy). Can anyone advise of any websites to get suitable cleaning material or Lotus headrest covers to mask the marks. I look forward to participating in the forum

Congratulations and welcome, you'll love it I'm sure, post some pics when you can. Can't recommend anything personally for the seats but maybe you could post it on the Bodywork & Detailing forum.

Maybe the worst idea on the internet but would shoe polish work? Just make sure it's dried before you sit back down. And welcome to the club

I remember quite clearly my first drive in mine. Loved every second of it and still do now. Happy motoring thumbup

Don't know if its just me but I actually found my 'first' drive a bit underwhelming. No power, no 'shove', no noise, not much drama and a bit tinny (coming from a TVR) but I could kind of tell that I was going to like it once I got used to it, now (3 years on) I love it and my experience is still developing.....

Congratulations - You'll love it !

I picked my first Lotus up on Wednesday lunchtime - S Touring in Starlight Black with a few sport additions.

I've not stopped grinning since !

Weather looking alright today so time for loads of driving with roof off.

Felt very odd when I picked mine up for the first time - was grinning like a Cheshire cat by the time I had it home though - good choice...
