After much anguish, pawing through adverts and generally day dreaming I finally got what I wanted. A very nice, straight Griff 500.

Now I just have to wait a week til it can be delivered...

That'll count as one of teh best decisions to make on this mortal coil!!!

More details?

(and what's a "straight" Griff when it's at home - they don't normally come in pink, y'know!!!)

Since you asked....it is a 1996 registered example with about 38k on the clock. Bodywork is in almost unblemished Rosso Pearl, interior is black half leather. Everything about the car appears to be completely original and well looked after (I've seen the bills so I can vouch for that).

I've driven a few examples now with this being the first one I tried. It doesn't have the bells and whistles that some of the came with but it is easily the best one to drive.

As soon as I have a worthy picture to share it will be going up on my profile.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pink!!!
c'ept for the fact that I'd never be able to sell the thing if I did respray it!

From Fernies by any chance?

(I seem to know far too much about what Griffs are on the market! I just wish MY one was out there!)

And it arrived today - what an evil week of waiting.

Just been for a little cruise to calm myself down (which didn't work of course) Now just wondering where to go tomorrow
