ouch!....help!

crunched the chim's a*se on a high kerb this aftie; not a major, but the body work now has a wonderful ventilation device to keep the contents of the boot moist and cool. Lucky really, two inches and it wouldv'e been a bent exhaust problem, not shattered fibreglass. so... can anyone help me find a tvr/grp specialist near leeds / halifax? my alternative would be to ring up the nearest main dealer & ask their advice. cheers in advance!

Bad luck mate, we all make a stupid mistake like this once in our lives - teaches us not to do it again! (I flew into a field at 50mph once!!!)

Don't know your neck of the woods, but it might be worth having it trailered to one of the specialists down south, such as TVR Body Shop in Bristol. Although it's worth scouring the Bodywork specialists on the Oily Pages although there doesn't seem to be anyone that close.

Good luck getting it sorted.

Shepley Coachworks did a very good job on my Elise a year or so ago, and not too far from Halifax.

cheers chaps. Saw the TVR bodyshop ad on oilypages, but that IS a longway off! I'll run Shepley through Yell.com & give 'em a ring. I'll pass on all sympathy votes straight on (yes thankfully this was a teeth clenchingly eye wateringly sickening passenger seat experience for me) to mrs adove!
