I've got a few track days booked up for the little mazda and fancy capturing my cack-handedness on film.

So, what's out there for about £100-£150? Obviously, at this price I'm not going to get massive quality, but that's fine. There seem to be a few products out there, but keen to here from other people's experience. Also, regarding sound, do I accept that when driving with the roof down it will just record wind noise above 30mph?

Cheers,
Matt

get a cheap/second hand video camera off fleebay and make a camera mount onto your rollcage/car body.
No need to spend out loads in case it gets damaged due to vibration or harsh braking/lateral movements but ensure that it is firmly mounted as some TDO's will inspect it for correct mounting.

Just bought a Muvi plus the extreme sports pack - absolutely tiny, 4gb. So small it can go anywhere.

£60 for the camera, and 20odd for the sports pack which gives various mounting options.

Might want to cover the mic a bit....

I just got the GoPro HD, good piece of kit from the limited testing I've done so far.

I'm at Brands on Friday so planning to try it out properly there biggrin
