2004 111S Inspired Type 25 was realy factory built ?

Hi,

Very pleased to join this forum.

I'm about to buy a 2004 111S 156bhp. My question : does a 111S has realy been facotry built as a Type 25. I have a doubt about this, as it is mentionned : limited edition to 50 cars and looks completly like a type 25, but I thought only the S2 120bhp had had this milited edition ?

Yes it is an official version - they built 25 VVC engined Type 25s I believe.

Yes. I've got one.

I think there were 50 120bhp cars and 25 111S versions.

Thanks for your answer. So this 2004 111S 156bhp Type 25 model does exist, nice ;-)
But the seller tells me it is a 50 cars production, not sure he is right ?
The plate in the car says only : "Inspired by Type 25" but there is no number telling it is the Xth out of 50, is it normal ?

The plate on the vvc engined cars didn't show a number like the one on the 120bhp cars. And I think there were 25 built, not 50 as the seller thinks.

If you look at the vin/chassis number, the last three digits will tell you the build number. Mine, for example, is 007.
