can anyone let me see the ride height they have on a cooper s with 17s on - bought the wife one and it seems to catch every speed bump, mainly due to a rubber lip under the bumper that is only about 65mm off the ground
Thanks

Depending on the bump the lip under the car generally does scrap but if you have gone from a smaller alloy the car should be slightly higher. Is the car lowered?

All I would say is you need to either remove the lip, or go even slower. Mine I have to do bumps at 20mph max though normally 15mph because the bumps are just too big

Cheers, the car is on 17's and seems quite low in comparison to others I have seen - looks like the hack saw might be coming out, there is also a second lip under the car does anyone know what thats for ? or shall I just cut that as well - we have loads of speed bumps and its driving me mad even going dead slow it catches

Hmm, does it have the Aero bumper? It shouldn't catch on stuff at standard height, I only catch stuff because I have a lower strut brace underneath.

Its good to leave it on as a warning meter, mine with the OEM sports suspension used to rub on certain bumps, especailly in London.

Mine has standard 16" wheels and isnt a cooper S bus still the rubber thing catches on most speed bumps if you are doing 20mph+ just something you have to go easier on frown
