I've only heard good things about this series so my inlaws bought me the box set for Xmas and Ive watched the first disc(4 episodes)tonight and I must admit I'm hooked already!
Only another 23discs (3hrs per disc!) to go.

series 1 is great, series 2 gets more than a bit ridiculous, series 3 is daft, was there a series 4? I'd lost interest by that point. The final episode is pretty good though.

Yep Series 1 is a stone cold classic, drama at it's very best. The rest is all fun but nothing special.

As above, series 1 is great... everything beyond that is pretty poor...
