Sadly my friends dad has died and her mother was left to choose the 'entering the crematoruim' and the 'exiting the crematorium' songs.
A sad time, but even the friend had to laugh when her Mum, quite seriously chose 'Please Release Me' and 'I want to break free'. She was even looking through the Chas and dave CDs. When my brother in law died he had chosen Queen songs too, 'another one bites the dust' for the entrance.

Has anyone been at a funeral with songs which make you smile when you shouldn't, and how did the vicar react when asked if they could play it?

Have you actually heard these at a funeral or are you all just coming up with songs it would be inapproriate to use?

Not heard, unsurprisingly, but I quite like Queen's "Don't stop me now!"... wink
