I don't think there is an easy answer to this but I thought I'd ask the question to see if anyone has any good ideas.

Given that trackdays can be pretty expensive if you get thrown out for noise after a couple of laps it would be great to be able to realistically test the car before booking.

Iv'e just bought a supercharged MG ZS track day car and while its OK on static testing, I very much doubt that it would pass any of the more stringent venues when its under load.

Short of taking to car to the circuit and trying to blag a single lap for testing has anyone got any ideas?

I suppose I could always put a standard exhaust on it and loose a couple of bhp.

It would have to be very loud to be pulled after the static sound test.

Just take it easy past the pits if your really worried.

Avoid Goodwood smile
