Overfilled Oil

Hi Guys
At the expense of sounding thick , if the oil level is over the maximum, what is the best way to let some out ?. Does the T350 have a sump plug like other cars or is their a correct way to do it ??

I probably being obvious but are you checking it hot after a run .

Yes, but i`d guess it`s a least half a litre over and have had some blow into the airbox when the car was stood

If you like hard work then yes there is a sump plug which will get rid of the oil. If you don,t like hard work suck it out of the catch tank when hot(ish).
Them get rid of the breather hose and plug the hole on the plenum and fit a small oil filter over the hole on the catch tank. That will cure the problem when you overfill it again

Half a ltr is not that much over or that drastic, if it's spraying into the plenum through the breather it's probably more than half a ltr.

Just to add by getting rid of the breather could save you a lot of money if you tend to be an over filler.
