Ok, here are the images from yesterday. Will take me quite a while to post since there are so many. I'll divide them up into 4 or 5 posts. (theres quite a few, wouldn't like to do all but one then my browser crash on the last one!) If anyone wants a picture of their car at full res (15MP) with no watermark, just PM me your email address. Though I will warn you that most images are over 6MB. Was my first time shooting at a track day with a DSLR so I'm sure theres scope for improvement, but anyway, here they are

All pictures taken with Canon 500D and 70-200 F2.8L

edit - The pictures look much worse on here than they do on my PC, view the higher res ones!
- www.timsherrington.co.uk is not live yet, but will be soon
- it seems that the "forum size" is waaaaay too small. Next time I'll do it in original, although I had quite a few difficulties trying that on here, as the images went all blocky and purple

Fantastic, cheers Tim! Great photos, especially since you say it's your first time using an SLR for motorsport. What lens have you got out of interest? I'll PM my email addy over. Don't worry about trying to send them full sized since it'll take you forever I imagine. 1600 horizontal will be easily good enough quality, although if it's easier to send the full files that's fine too.

More pictures as per requests

Some have been pretty heavily cropped as there were poles and railings in the way

Thanks, yeah first time using SLR for motorsport. Only got my first one at christmas. The lens was a Canon 70-200 F2.8L. Only had that since last week! I'm new to forum and haven't quite got the hang of it, including where to find my PM, but as soon as I get your email address I'll send some 1600 width photos over. But if you want to crop, I can send higher res ones later.

Myself, the Elise and Clio got a spread out board! LOL We were all on it though, and none of us were up to anything silly, but I get it get's a bit too close to the whole 'racing' thing :P Had an awesome battle with that orange Caterham Superlight though. Not much between us after he copied my lines after I passed him the first time wink Haha.

Tim...I hadn't realised, but it seems this board is too old skool to have PM, so rather than posting my email addy on here, can you drop me a mail through my website (which hides my address to the internet) http://www.mikehart.info/joomla/index.php?option=c... Obviously you won't be able to attach the photos, but if I reply to you, it'll show my address smile

Dopeydog... those are really excellent.. love to see pics showing movement rather than the usual "frozen" pics and shots of cars close together. Cheers for those - feel free to come along again beer

zorba_the_greek - You're welcome. email me if you would like any in high or full (15MB so pretty large file size) resolution

welshsurferdude - I'm guessing you're talking about the frontera? I think it was the Marshalls having a bit of fun just as the sighting laps were ending

paulg390 - Glad you like the photos, email if you want any high or full res! Was pretty pleased with the results being first motorsport pics with a DSLR.

Here's some more 4x4 pictures!

oh and from looking at the photos, it seems the X5 was lapping around 4:05 and the Frontera around 4:15!
