Unfortunately, it would appear that one of our neighbours has either acquired a stereo, or has just discovered their old one in the back of a cupboard...

Been going on for a couple of weeks, but the last couple of nights they have put on VERY loud music, usually after 11pm for at least a couple of hours.

I sleep with earplugs, it was so loud that I could clearly hear the tune, in our main bedroom which is not attached to their hours, with the earplugs in.

They are usually fairly noise (stamping up the stairs and so on), that does not bother me, but this is just too much.

I have tried to contact them, but the never answer the door.

How can I find out if their house is privately rented, and who the lettings agent is if so? I would rather contact their letting agent / landlord if it is a rent, rather than go via environmental health first as, from experience, they are fking useless...

My brother removed the main electrical fuse of a neighbours, at 3am, as it was the only way he could achieve in turning their loud music off.

Do a search online via Land Registry for owner of property, local library for electoral roll register, also surprising what can come up by Googling address, same with local Councils online planning applications. Does the house with the noise, have neighbours on the other side of the property, could you speak to them.

The house is like a massive house, split into 4 each being a corner house.

I did walk round the other day, they do have neighbours but they have a for sale sign outside.

They have been quiet the last night or so, so I will probably keep on with the diary and wait to see if they start again.

I will look up the land registry stuff just in case. I overheard some of them talking when I was out having a smoke in my garden, regrettably they sound like complete chavs frown
