Simple imac question

Can you remove the stand that the iMac come with?

in other words does the iMac come with the stand attached?

Before I buy one (iMac 21inch) I need to know if I can wall mount it, but it also needs to between my kitchen units and my countertops (max 17inches).

I'm 99% sure you can VESA mount an iMac.

The new 21.5 iMacs are VESA compliant, so you're good to go.
Getting one myself to replace this 4 yo original DC iMac, and after having a play with one in the Apple Store, now was the right time to move up to a newer one.
