I've always regarded aircraft as "big".
Now i know there are bigger things out there, ships tend to be bigger, but it is still a big thing.

walls aren't particularly big.

Just across from the airport, there used to be an open air swimming pool, I can recall in the 50's hoards of queus on a Sunday morning to get in. (Probably long gone).

Always referred to as "Purley Way Swimming Pool", as it was on a section of the A23 called "Purley Way".
