I have just noticed whilst adjusting my pedals that the clutch master cylinder is leaking, according to the bible this a specific TVR part. The cheapest i have been quouted is £45 +vat, does anyone know anywhere cheaper?.

You could get a seal kit and reseal it providing the bores have not gone.

£45+vat seems a fair price imho.as steve said you could re-seal it-see 'clutch master cylinder' thread on 20th jan.

Thanks boys,I think for £45 i will just fit a new one.It was nice to meet you up @ the Ace Steve on friday evening (i had the red griff500)regards James

I noticed a few weeks back that I had the same problem on my V8S. Greasy patch on floor directly below clutch pedal, oily mess running down clutch pedal arm.

Investigated 'seal kit', which are cheap, but have been advised that the job is very fiddly, especially if only to find other faults with the master cylinder shortly after.

Purchased a replacement Girling master cylinder complete from Peninsula for £40 + Vat.

Will tackle the job soon, not forgetting plenty of sealant around the bulkhead hole!
