We are having an extension built which will have a kitchen in it. The screed was laid last week and we are going to have floor tiles on the visible areas i.e. laid up to the kitchen unit legs. So, my question is what should be put on the screed under the units to make it waterproof in case of leaks, spills etc? Some webside mentioned a 2 part PVA/1 part water solution - is that the white glue stuff? I assume I can't seal it until it has dried fully.

A PVA mix is what I used, but yes, you'll need to wait until it's fully dried. I can't remember what mix I used as it was 8yrs ago now!

You could try looking on here though: http://www.pavingexpert.com

PVA is water based, not waterproof.
