Advertising my house
Discussion
Looking to generate a little more interest (It went up a week ago, had 2 viewings so far) in my house. The agent we've gone with has it on their website and rightmove, but we've signed with them that we can advertise ourselves.
Firstly, is there any point? Does anyone look at anything other than Rightmove and the big 'paid' property websites?
Secondly, if the above question is yes, what are the other alternative free websites? Gumtree etc.?

Thanks for the replies guys.
I was thinking of Gumtree and Houseladder.co.uk (Who advertise free for 2 weeks), but there was a warning in a newspaper article that I read where these adverts were used by some undesirables to go for a "viewing" of your house and valuables and doing some survelliance.

Can't see many people looking on Gumtree for a purchase, rental yes, but not purchase.
As for the free to advertise websites, why bother, everyone's first port of call is always Rightmove and Globrix. These other sites are very secondary and only used by people after they've already looked on Rightmove.
Best way to get it sold is to keep on top of your Estate Agent. Phone for weekly updates, make sure they're pushing your property, make sure they're advertising in the local press, make sure they get quality feedback from previous viewings. Get a friend to go and test them - go into their shop say they're looking for a particular type of property (which your house exactly matches) and see how well they sell your house to your friend.
A good EA will pass with flying colours if yours do not, switch.
