was Hot in 06 when I went apart from the first night when it pissed down, warm in 08 but rain. hoping for a hot one this year

if you going the same day as me then stay away. No roof or windscreen so i'm hoping it's going to be dry for the run down

Don't wish for rain! On the way down, I had to put the roof up on the Caterham, and the inside of my windscreen still managed to re-enact a waterfall!

we were in the racing green R500 with orange PH stickers ALL over it (incase you saw us)

we had a flyscreen and not even half doors!

very..very...very wet and cold!

I partly blame by Caterham virgin passenger. I'm sure it's quite a shock going from a comfy, warm, waterproof car into a 7 with terenchal rain.

I was tempted to don full waterproofs and plough on through.

I might have seen your 7, but to be fair, they aren't a rare site down at Le Mans!

Ditto with just the screen, who needs a roof and windscreen, Anywho bought a waterproof all in one I use on the bike and will be taking it along just in case

We got a bit damp as well a few years, at one point 2 years ago we had about an inch of water in the floor wells, needed to drill some major drain hols! But wet weather gear and skid lids and all is good! As long as we get some sun to dry it all out again..... But all part of the fun!

Weather forecast was ste last year, yet we had sunshine, a swim in the pool and all sorts - it pee'd down on Monday when packing up though lol

This year wasn't too bad at all, not compared to 3 years ago anyway. It was like a swamp in Houx Annex, doesn't stop the fun mind you!

I hoping for another hot one again this year though!

Only bother with looking at weather on the Thursday departure ..hope it's a sunny one but been to downpour Le Mans too.

That's even when 'long range forecasts' predicted Sun & blue skies.

Just Hope for the best!

I can report that it's currently a balmy 12 degrees au Mans. I'm off out to Monoprix to pick up some Kanterbrau now and enjoy general springy-ness (although it's a bit dark now). It's only got to put on about another 13 degrees between now and the 24 to be a proper scorcher, I'm sure that's plausible

Oh, and in case you've never seen it, this is great for updates. It uses the weather station at the airport just next to the pits and is almost always spot on forcast wise
