its not that cheap? look at the mileage? thats alot for a 2007 plate. its a lot for a gallardo full stop to be honest. could of been a hire car.
Well if this http://www.dreamcarhire.com/meet_the_team.html#sim... is the same chap in the advert that's a fair chance.I know of another Orange Gallardo that was also used as a hire car before blowing the gearbox and shortly after being reposesed.
It was for sale on here at a dealers after obviously being repaired around a year ago.
Exactly the same spec as this one - It was poorly serviced and maintained among other things
.
It may well be however that this is not the car in question and is a genuine high mileage bargian.

So at the prices on the web page, I guess that means to have made a profit it must have been out on hire about 200+ times.... hum.... guess that makes sense with the mileage of about 150 per hire...
Could be closer to 400 days rental, as they give you just 100 miles on that car. If that were true, the car would be have been rented out about 12 days per month (assuming they bought it from new) and brought in around £200k in rental income. I thought these companies were on slim margins.ha ha and know the cars been taken off the advert. silly people eh? i was in the super car hire game my self so i know these things! 2007 plate gallardo with that kinda mileage? hmmmmm some one isnt telling you the whole truth abt how it obtained that kind of mileage. normally these kind of cars are just put through the auctions.

I must say if I ended up with a hire car and didnt know about it I would be far from impressed, I guess they dont have to state that in an advert.
Also why are there so few private sales it seems nearly all are from dealers for the gallardo and this must help keep the prices higher, I can understand the first buyer p/x back to a main dealers as somebody that is spending 150 to 180 K on a new car is probably not so fussed about getting the very best resale price but once its on the 2nd / 3rd owners at 60 to 100 K I would have thought more private sales would be going on.

So was my father when it happened to him (not a Gallardo, another type of Audi
). They don't have to state it in the advert, but should answer any questions regarding the previous owner honestly. I suppose the moral of the story is always check the V5 before parting with any cash, or end up pursuing it through the courts.Daisy Duke said:
