You know that water that comes out your tap, it's not the first time it's been poured and drank.

lol I think more blokes will like her because she did do that! You know, the Angeline Jolie effect.

Anyway, I missed it because I hadnt seen any ads for it. Will have to watch it online.
Although, from the bits I have seen, they are in danger of turning into a rich boys toys show with all this dune buggy malarky (obviously a bigger budget this year).

Serious question...Is it actually any better than the last series, before I waste 20 mins of my life watching it ?

Or is it still the same..

  • here's whats coming up later
  • here's a bunch of sad middle aged men mooning over Suzi Perry
  • here's our competition
  • here's what's coming later
  • oh, here's what's coming next week.
  • and about 5 minutes of actual content, normally featuring something that a supplier has pushed their way rather than a genuine gadget that people might be interested in buying, ( eg last night I turned over for 30 secs to see them giving the benefits of a satellite phone ffs )
In short, is it still 5th gear mk2..

and yes, I blame that Jon Bentley

Very true with so much British telly lately.

And why don't they review any good gadgets, it's all a load of crap we will never find a use for in a million years

I just wondered if there was any content at all, ( based on my 30 secs of the satellite phones, I doubt it...), or if i should just delete it.

Indeed, I'm on the point of deleting its season pass from my tivo..

There were quite a few ads on Ch5 announcing its return.
Do agree that some of the gadgets are for a very limited market and that a lot of effort seems to go into proving that 'indestructible' items can't take punishment, including that for which they weren't designed.

'Still working? Blow it up!'

'Oh, now it's died....'

It was a bit of a season opener, hopefully it'll improve and become a bit more in depth. The ebook reader test was interesting and the sand race but other than that it was, well, bland. I know some people don't like the team but I think they bounce off each other well.
