Hi all
Was just wondering if anyone has seen this effect, or if it's just me...

I've noticed something odd on the "European Tour Weekly" show that sky screen the day after their own live coverage. I could swear that, for example, when the camera sweeps up into the air to track a ball in flight against a bright blue sky, there is a REALLY feint large Sky sports logo directly in the middle of the screen!!

This programme is produced the European Tour I believe and is such not Sky's production (just using their footage) so I wondered if the Murdoch boys have "watermarked" their footage somehow?

I know it's not screen retention on my TV as it's a much larger logo than usual and is slap bang in the middle of the screen. Switching to other channels shows that it is not there, and it's twice now that I've noticed on that particular programme.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I quite mad? confused

Nope - not mad, seen it myself. Once you've noticed it, it become quite annoying!

Just trying to think if i've seen it on anything other than golf.

OK, I'll let you you have that one!

I haven't seen it on any other channel or programme so I think it's specific to that production.

At least it's not just me then!
