How much oil?

Evening,

It seems the car does not use much oil, it is currently half way between the marks on the dipstick, how much oil do I need to put in to take it to the top one (I'm hoping half a litre!)..

Always keep it at max level. It's isn't good to let it go to low.
I would stick 1/2 a litre in , give it 5 mins and measure again.
