Hi,

In a rare bout of being creative (required for a contribution towards someones birthday) i need to cut and chop some images.

I downloaded the free version of photoshop only to find they have omitted the extractor tool grrrrrrrrrr.

Is there something similar that i can download for free. All i want to to is cut round some images copy and pasted of the internet and overlay them in a sort of collage..........its only for a scrapbook so ill resort to printing it out and scissors if need be.

Cheers in advance.

The GIMP with GimpShop will look very photoshoppy and is completely free.

Thanks how user friendly is it?

I'm not a simpleton but not exactly and expert photoshopper.

The GIMP isn't too bad - sometimes it may appear to be counter-intuitive, but for what you need to do, probably not too different to Photoshop.

The UI has progressed a lot since the early versions.
