To me, the original Countach looked far better than the bewinged beast that adorned our bedroom walls in poster form back in the 80's.

This car looks pure and exotic. Bit pricey for me mind, I may have to save up a bit...

I love it!

Utterly stunning design.

I agree about it looking much much better than the 80's winged versions, though they certainly have their place...

Have to disagree with you there....but then i would, wouldn't I! But more seriously , as i have said on this forum before, old Lambos are seriously undervalued in the market and it does not make sense that very nice road going F cars reach the millions , like the califoria spyder, £5.4 mill, or the price of TdF and others, when the Miura , one of the most beautiful cars in the world, built in samll numbers, techologically advanced etc etc is a bargain at say 300k, or the Countach, one of the most iconic cars ever made, technologically advanced, and in LP400 form , very rare ( 157 built) is here offered at £250k. For a car that in 1971 completly blew away anything on the road in looks and speed and engineering and completly overshadowed Ferrari ( and before u deride me , i love Ferraris and own one), its a bargain in relative terms. And later Countachs are an even bigger bargain. Ignore your broker, cash in your pension, sell your premium bonds, take your savings out of the thieving banks, max your morgage, and buy a 350/400GT, Islero,Jarama,Muira , any Countach and any Diablo and you will one day thank me ( and i like all single malt scotch). and for the really canny, an nice Urraco or Jalpa as they will be pulled up by the V12s. But we may have to wait for this economic downturn to work its way through. Oh, and back to the car for sales and dispite Valentino inspection the car, i think i can spot a few things wrong just from the pic as in side repeaters and spot lights, and as these cars were never officially federalised, they appear aftermarket although i may be wrong. Craig would know.

I agree with you to a point, Muiras at £300k are still double'ish the value of their opposition from Maranello (365GTB/4) Countach in all forms is doing far better than the age relevant 365/512BB-Testarossa

The cars that I really think are due a jump in value, are the 70's GT's & 2+2's

wise words Stephen - I think the LP400 will continue to rise on the back of Miura values. The QV still has some considerable room for value appreciation IMO.

The LP400 above has the US side reflectors - I believe my car used to have these at one point but were later removed. The blue car also seems to be missing it's front bumper??? The spot lights look very odd
