Hi All

I am currently comparing some F430's at both Ferrari approved, and normal dealers...

Obviously the ferrari approved cars come with 2 years warranty now (announced yesterday).

Non approved come with whats remaining, and then I assume as long as they have full ferrari history can be extended.

My question is; how much does the ferrari official extended warranty (power warranty?) cost? For example to extend a 2005/2006 F430 by 1 year? I did search the forums but couldn't find an answer....

Obviously its a good thing to know, when approaching non-approved dealers in terms of working on a price for the car vs an approved one with 2 years warranty included...

Having just been through the buying process last week (and picking the car up on Sat), power warranty was quoted in the £2-2.5K mark, inclusive of the 190 point check that a Ferrari dealer will need to perform prior to the warranty.

Thanks, that makes it quite worthwhile to buy via an approved dealer if the price is close to an independant (£4k of value in a 2 year ferrari warranty included).

Yep. My personal experience within the official network is that if the car is close to being out of warranty you can negotiate the cost of extended warranty off the sticker price (in addition to whatever deal you are trying to negotiate). Same with the big service....e.g 6,250.

The Power Warranty comes up for renewal on my CS in April - quoted £2600 if that helps

Base cost is £2200 for the warranty and £350 for the 190 point check. Bear in mind everything listed on the check has to be rectified before the warranty can be issued.
