I'm trying to find a matching blue upholstery vinyl for my 1977 TVR 3000m.
A reference number 754 appears on the rear of the panels

......This is a heavy grained Triumph colour ..rare in TVR world, but there is a
version in commercial trim that is so near to it that it can fool most
people....I need to remember where it comes from....
Adrian...

Any suggestions?

The 754 reference will be your chassis number, and nothing to do with the vinyl trim colour.

You may be better sending a sample off the Wollies or getting in touch with D & C Trim at the old factory. They may know where to get a match.

I agree, logically "754" could have related to the chassis number, but not in this case. D&C trim have as yet to get back to me with their thoughts and I look forward to reading their suggestion.

Hi there, if its any help, Triumph blue trim of the seventies was Shadow Blue, and was Triumph code 27 from memory. This was used right across the Triumph range including Stags and TR's etc.

Thanks Griffer, I shall drop John Skinner a line and see what he might have available.
