Hi
Is there a simple way to do this rather than retyping all the details into my new phone? They are on different networks so didn't think swapping the sim sould work? I thought maybe I could bluetooth them or something? I have a sim card copier but its not working?!
Thanks

Sync the old phone with Outlook and copy all the contact. Then plug in the new phone and sync that.

If you've got a PC and data cable, sync to outlook, then sync back to new phone.

Send via bluetooth from one to the other, one contact at a time, as virtually no phones out there seem to like sending or receiving lots of contacts via bt.

Or if you've got the only smartphone platform that offers seamless data transfer between devices (ie. Symbian), run the "Switch" application, which makes it all ridiculously easy.

Phone is asking me to contact service provider for synch settings (Tesco). Contacts are on PC - bluetooth is enabled and my phone has paired with the PC but won't synch

That function should still be available even with two sims on a different network as far as I know!

Careful swapping sims with locked phones - you can lock 'em proper. Orange used to be buggers for this - not sure if it's still the case though.

SIMs only support one phone number per contact, no address/contact/other details and are restricted on the length of a contact's name though, so you can lose a lot of data doing it that way.

Find if you only store numbers, and have different entries for each number (rather than person) though.

Some downgrade !

Moving jobs are we wink

Anywho, I would imagine the BB is all things connected to a PC? So sync the contacts with Outlook Contacts.
Connect the Nokia, use (download?) Nokia PC Suite, and Sync the Outlook Contacts with the Nokia...
wink

Nokia 2630 isn't listed on Nokia site.

Well - I couldn't find it listed, I have somehow managed to bluetooth the contacts over (it would only let me do batches of 6 at a time) from the laptop to my phone so all done - thanks for the advice anyway.
