She looks fit, shame the knife wasn't round the front then could see her boobies.

You'd notice warmth from the blood if nothing else.

Onve cut my arm sliding down a bank and didn't realise at first until I felt my arm get warm.

Could well be real.

Plenty of stories of people who have suffered consideable injusry but haven't been aware of it until after you whould have expected them to!

Listening to the Lady officer on Radio 4 on Monday evening who lost a leg thanks to an IED. It took her some minutes to realise she was hurt, and even then didn't think it was more than a break...

A friend of a friend, of a friend was stabbed, allegedly, felt like a punch?

yea, you don't have much nerve endings inside so, you only feel the thump on the outside for most of it.

A good few years ago now I sliced a finger open down to the bone when I had the brilliant idea of trying to catch a freshly sharpened chisel after knocking it off the workbench, and I didn't feel a thing...

Shock certainly can block pain, I had two teeth knocked out when I was younger, loads of blood but didn't hurt at all. Looking at that picture though, the knife has gone in centrally so you'd think it'd damage the spine and spinal cord, I reckon it's fake.

Agree with above, I choppe the tops from 2 of the fingers on my right hand when I was about 4 or 5 yrs old, no pain or tears just went indoors and held what I thought was a simple cut under the cold water tap, mum almost passed out though when she noticed the water running red from it and realising what I had done!

Funny enough I ripped my wedding ring finger open in the Gym (lesson there chaps, DO put your dumb bells away when you are finished with them or they might roll under a bench where some other idiot is doing flys adn squash his finger), I didn't notice how bad it was, it didn't hurt at all, just bled a lot. So I wrapped it in toilet paper and drove home. When I got home I went to run it under the tap to clear up the blood, and it was then that I noticed the bone in the gap... Decided that was bad news, so got a lift to the hospital where a kind consultant stuck it back together for me.. Scar runs from quarter of an inch from the tip of my finger to half an inch from my palm. The most pain I felt through the entire debacle was when a rather large needle was inserted up my hand.

I was stabbed years ago. Didn't even know it until the blood started hoofing out. I thought I'd copped a punch.

Apparently it has happened that a motorbike chain snapped and sliced off the riders lower leg. But they only realised when they went to put their foot down after stopping and ended up with a bike on top of them.
