Have just had a Parrot Mki9200 installed in my car and it has IPod functionality - but when I plug mine in it says 'Software not compatible'....... frown

I suspect this is due to the fact my IPod is a first week of launch Gen 1 2gb Nano so the software is rather old on it. Is there any way I can update the software on the IPod or is the only way to play in the car through the 3.5mm jack ?

The IPod software should update if you connect it to itunes.

Mmm, connect it to ITunes regularly to update and did so no more than 2 weeks ago.

Do I also need to update Itunes too ?

You should give Parrot Tech Support a call on 0844 472 2360 as they'll know what to do.....

iTunes updates itself automatically as well. As long as you're connected to the internet while you have iTunes open it should be sorting itself out.

Next time you connect your iPod check it's settings in iTunes - the front page should tell you what software version your iPod is running.
